Baby Voice

The years my voice was getting weak it would come and go. For weeks or a month at a time it would be very weak it sounded like I had laryngitis. Then the next month or so it would be back. A young girl at the gym called it my baby voice. I was denial back then, I thought it will eventually stop the back and forth and come back. However, in the back of my mind I wondered. I never told my doctor. When it was time for my seizure doctor, I was relieved if I had my voice. If I didn’t, I would reschedule. Not even thinking I needed to tell him. I’ve never had a doctor help me with a health problem, so it never occurred to me to go to the doctor for this. I’ve been my own health advocate for years. More on that later.
